Kidnappers killed three kidnapped brothers and a motorcyclist after receiving a $60 million ransom from the brothers' father in Taraba state.
The incident reportedly took place in a forest near Garin Dogo, Lau Local Government Area on Sunday, December 25, 2022.
Three of the victims are said to be from the same parents and were abducted in Garin Dogo by their kidnappers, who demanded a ransom of N100 million.
The father of the three young men, one Alhaji Musa, a cattle trader, was believed to be negotiating with the kidnappers.
He learned that the kidnappers had arranged a £60m ransom for the release of the three brothers and that the motorcyclist had been hired to deliver the ransom to the kidnappers in a forest near the village. However, the kidnappers killed the four after collecting the ransom money. As it became known, the victims were buried in the village on Monday.
