Qualified consultants are required for a new public-private partnership primary school scheduled to open in Taaleem, UAE in August 2024. As the leading educational institution in the Middle East, Taaleem continues to support the UAE's vision and National Agenda 2021 by building a unique partnership between the government and the private sector. We are currently managing and managing several public-private partnership schools in the UAE to improve the quality of education. It plays an important role in shaping the current and future lives of Emirati youth. In August 2022, Taalim acquired the campuses of four Emirates Schools institutions in Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. This exciting project is the latest addition to our successful partnership with the UAE government, expanding Taalim's portfolio of private sector-led public schools in the Northern Emirates of the UAE. Following on from Taaleem's successful partnership with the Emirates Schools foundation, we are looking for outstanding senior leaders, teachers and support staff to join our growing family, with a new campus scheduled to be allocated in summer 2024!

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a motivated and active leader to oversee the wellbeing and development of our Primary School students. Please see the attached job description.
We want to hire people who believe they can make a difference for our students, who understand that change is a process, and who want to take an active role in sharing experiences as the team achieves its shared goals. The expected increase in Talems offers interesting opportunities over the next few years.
You will:
- Ideally have a relevant degree and further therapeutic training or qualification in working with children and young people
- One to two year's experience working as a School Counsellor
- Have experience working with local communities / Emirati students and families (preferred)
- Bilingual Arabic and English speaker preferred
- Be open to working in an American Curriculum School (guidance and training provided)
- Be excited to work and engage with Emirati children and their families who form our school community
- Have a flexible and enthusiastic approach with a can-do ethos
- Be an innovative and reflective practitioner who is keen to learn
- Be available to join our school in the UAE, for an August 2024 start
