MTN Scholarship 2024 Details:
Since its inception in 2010, the MTN Scholarship Scheme has been a key program of the MTN Foundation, open to eligible undergraduates in Nigerian public tertiary institutions.
Initiated in 2012, the scholarship is available to eligible 200 and 300 level blind students in universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.
Annually, 300 students receive scholarships worth N300,000 until graduation, provided they maintain the required grades. Additionally, 60 blind students are awarded N200,000 scholarships annually until graduation.
A new feature since 2020 grants the top 10 UTME scorers, as announced by JAMB, automatic qualification for the top 10 UTME scholarship, offering N300,000 per year from their first year through graduation if they maintain the required grades.

MTN Scholarship 2024 Requirements:
To be eligible for the 2024 MTN Scholarship for Undergraduates, review the following details:
- The MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (STS) and MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (SBS) are available to Nigerian students in public tertiary institutions.
- The STS is open to 300 level students, while the SBS is open to 200 and 300 level blind students.
- Blind law students, who are in a five-year program, can apply only in their third year.
- The application is also open to the top 10 JAMB candidates for 2023.
CGPA Requirements:
For the MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (STS):
- STEM students in public universities and colleges of education need a minimum CGPA of 3.0/4 or 3.5/5 (second class upper credit).
- STEM students in public polytechnics need a minimum CGPA of 3.0 (upper credit) from the OND program and must be admitted to the HND program.
- Direct entry STEM students need a minimum CGPA of 3.0 (upper credit) from the OND program and must be admitted to the 300 level in a public university.
For the MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (SBS):
- Blind students in universities or colleges of education need a minimum CGPA of 2.5.
- Blind students in public polytechnics need a minimum CGPA of 2.0 from the OND program and must be admitted to the HND program.
MTN Scholarship Duration and Reward:
Annually, at least 500 students receive scholarships of N300,000 each, covering tuition, books, and living expenses for one academic year. Initially, 500 second-year students in science and technology disciplines from 44 federal and state institutions were awarded.
