As an Off-Cycle Intern in the Investment Banking Program, you will spend the fall working alongside top professionals to develop solutions that shape the global economy. Our bankers focus on long-term relationships and strategies to help government, institutional, and corporate clients grow and innovate. We achieve this by providing sound advice, helping them access funds, and making connections, while also managing the many risks in today’s complex environment.
Our nine-week program begins with five days of orientation and training, equipping you with technical and practical skills. This program offers hands-on experience, relevant skills training, and valuable professional networking, serving as a pipeline for future graduate opportunities. Based on your performance and achievements, you may receive offers of full-time employment with the firm. Holding the permanent right to work in Singapore is advantageous, but candidates requiring visa sponsorship may still apply.
Our industry and product teams collaborate to develop and execute strategies to help our clients achieve their objectives in today’s global markets. These teams include: Consumer & Retail, Corporate Finance Advisory, Diversified Industries, Energy, Equity Capital Markets, Financial Institutions, Financial Sponsors, Healthcare, Investment Grade Finance, Leveraged Finance, Media & Communications, Mergers & Acquisitions, Real Estate Gaming & Lodging, Regional Investment Banking, and Technology.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze market data, build detailed financial models, and prepare client presentations for mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and capital markets advisory.
- Manage client transactions from pitch to close under the guidance of our senior leaders.
- Develop innovative and creative solutions to complex, real-world business challenges.
- Learn how we help clients and communities grow, regardless of their needs.
- Build your professional network with mentors, senior executives, and others.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and interpretative skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work environment.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and resilience.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Expected graduation date of September 2024 – July 2025 from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (Master’s degree must be within 2 years of receiving a bachelor’s degree).
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Coursework in finance or economics is a plus.
- Permanent right to work in Singapore is advantageous, though visa sponsorship is available.
- Fluency in Malay, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, or Vietnamese is beneficial, as there is a focus on covering the Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam markets.
